I have been working as a teacher since 1994, and as an English teacher for 6 years. I chose this subject because I consider having good command of foreign languages an important skill for everyone. Learning English in childhood brings far better results than later in life, so I consider my mission as very important. I have experience in teaching students from 4 to 50 years old, but lessons with primary school seem to be the most exciting.
I use the communicative method of teaching, which is recognized as the most effective one in the ESL world. Attending the CELTA course at the University of Cambridge, helped me to hone using this method in my lessons and make them as effective as possible. In teaching children, the main task is the development of speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. What is more, Maria Montessori’s teaching methodology inspires children to independently maintain the necessary level of motivation and self-control. The combination of these components allows my students to achieve excellent results.
